One of the most difficult and most rewarding projects of my career to date was designing and photographing the 2024 VA DOD Suicide Prevention Conference. As the sole designer on the account, it was important to create a cohesive brand identity for the conference and make sure it was consistently implemented. It was a full scale effort, spanning across both digital and print mediums, also making sure designs were 508 complaint and user friendly when applicable.

 

It is also rare as a designer that you get the chance to go to the events you design for. Day to day, I was photographing the Conference as well as on-the-ground design support for our Conference team. Getting to see the large-scale printed designs first hand and getting the chance to photograph the event is something I'll cherish in my career. Below is a recap of the work.
