DESIGN

Motion and Graphic Design are so important to the voice of a brand or event.

Design gives life, personality, and emotion and supports organic engagement with an audience. I've had the privilege to work with clientele that strive to be unique, informative, and direct in their brand or projects designs. They've understood the relationship between a brand and its audience, and we've worked to develop unique, personal designs for their goals and needs.

Below is a selection of these efforts.

2024 VA DOD Suicide Prevention Conference

Working with the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, my goal was to create a specific and unique brand style for the bi-yearly conference, taking inspiration from the VA and the U. S. Department of Defense's branding to make the event feel cohesive and connected. Once a brand was approved, we leveraged it across all social media, email marketing, presentation, and printed design elements to really create a cohesive look and feel for the conference.

U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Digital GI Bill

I created informational videos and engaging social media posts to inform Veterans and those supporting the program of the technological updates to the Digital GI Bill. As the motion design lead, I brought this message to life with storyboarding, art direction, and video creation through programs like Premier and After Effects. I also created content with motion for social media to make the information engaging and eye-catching for our audience.

Zesty Paws

Zesty Paws loved to have fun. Their bright and bold branding alongside their love of all pets and pet safety made them the "purrr-fect" client for social media and mailer marketing. Utilizing design, motion design, and user generated content, we delivered unique social media calendars monthly to engage their devoted audience and launch new products.

Launching new products in a Pandemic also came with its hurdles. Designing media mailers that were tailored to each theme or product launch was such a fun step into the 3D, tangible design space.

Wild Planets "Mighty Sardine" Media Mailer

Tasked with creating an engaging mailer to promote sardines, the "Mighty Sardine" was born. My hand-drawn sardine became the box's mascot and was showcased throughout the design, including as a temporary tattoo within the box. The box also included trivia about sardines and recipe cards, so the recipient could learn more and test out the product in fun and creative ways.

Raisels "Pick-Your-Mix" Media Mailer

My day-to-day on Raisels was social media design, but when they launched their online "pick-your-mix" e-commerce campaign, they requested a unique mailer tailored to the launch. We knew the target audience for the mailer were parents and kids, so we designed an interactive box for this mailer that could be used as a faux DJ booth while you listened to a curated 90s themed Spotify playlist included.

FitVine Wine

FitVine had recently launched an entirely new brand and tasked us with creating all their marketing needs. We designed everything from in store printed marketing materials (shelf talkers, corner displays, and posters) to everything digital (email campaigns, online ads, social media posts and videos) to highlight their new vibrant and sophisticated branding. While I was not in charge of the branding, I did find it very rewarding to take the new style and run, getting to really art direct all aspects from idea to implementation in the market.

Alongside client work, I've also completed a Masters (2023), worked on freelance projects, and created some personal projects I'm very proud of.
